PRINCE CHARMING'S OLD HORSE decorative pillow is the picture of the king’s youngest son and of his skinny horse before conquering their fame altogether with the princess’ heart.
Everyone laughed at the young prince when he left the palace to conquer the world, but on the way back everyone praised him: the youngster overcame their prejudices.
Mrs. Dochia Lucian, aged 67, from Costeni, introduced us to this character with a charming name, worthy of the Brothers Grimm: Cinderella.
The source of inspiration for this image was “Cenusotka”, a story from “The old emperor and the birds of love”, a book of authentic fairy tales from Maramures, collected by the anthropologist Pamfil Bilțiu.
*Maramures is a region in northen Romania, where folk traditions have been well preserved until nowadays.
The decorative pillows bring to the interior design what the accessories bring to clothing: a personal touch and extra refinement.
They can be easily replaced, depending on the season, event or mood, to obtain versatile and creative decorative ensembles.
