This is what a 75-year-old grandfather, Vasile Buda, from the village of Ungureni, Maramureș, taught us.
The source of inspiration for this image was “The man and the wolf”, a story from “The old emperor and the birds of love”, a book of authentic fairy tales from Maramures, collected by the anthropologist Pamfil Bilțiu.
*Maramures is a region in northen Romania, where folk traditions have been well preserved until nowadays.
The decorative pillows bring to the interior design what the accessories bring to clothing: a personal touch and extra refinement.
They can be easily replaced, depending on the season, event or mood, to obtain versatile and creative decorative ensembles.
